The First Maxpower International Corporation (FMIC) is a one hundred percent (100%) Filipino - owned company which was established in June 2009 primarily to engage in the business of power generation, most particularly from renewable energy sources. Pursuant to its Articles of Incorporation, the company is created to construct, erect, install and fabricate all kinds of works including but not limited to buildings, power plants and facilities, foundations, electrical transmission towers, power substations, roads, bridges construction and operation and maintenance of power plant, electrical substation, transmission lines, plant machinery and equipment and works or projects of the same nature.

Activities Conducted:

Pulupandan

  • Secured Certificate of Confirmation of Commerciality (COCC) from Department of Energy (DOE);
  • Obtained DOE’s approval of conversion from Pre-Development to Development/Commercial Stage of the project;
  • Completed wind resource assessment thru a meteorological mast (1-80m);
  • Secured clearance certificate from Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR), Maritime Industry Authority (MARINA) , National Commission on Indigenous People (NCIP), Philippine Navy, Philippine Coast Guard (PCG), Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA), Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR); Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP);
  • Secured Environmental Compliance Certificate/Environmental Impact Study with Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR);
  • Submitted Declaration of Commerciality last January 19, 2013;
  • Submitted Grid Impact Study to National Grid Corporation of the Philippines;
  • Pre-qualification / short listing of prospective manufacturers for the supply of wind turbine generators and its accessories;
  • Continuous negotiation with various landowners and the local government unit for ROW acquisition, secured resolution of support from the Sangguniang Bayan of Pulupandan.

Claveria

  • Submitted Declaration of Commerciality last January 30, 2013;
  • Coleted Final Micrositing by ATI;
  • On-going preparation of Grid Impact Study (GIS) for submission to NGCP;
  • Completed Final Feasibility Study by ATI;
  • Completed Preliminary Design by ATI/Airnergy;
  • Continuous on-going coordination with the Department of Environment and Natural Resources for the preparation and compliance of the Environmental Impact Study & Environmental Compliance Certificate (ECC);
  • Obtained certificate of Non-overlap/clearance with Philippine Coast Guard, Philippine Navy, Marina, BFAR,NCIP, PEZA;
  • Continuous negotiation with the international foreign partners/ investors/ local banks relative to the financing requirement for the development of the project;
  • Conducted Public Consultation at the concerned barangay of Claveria, Cagayan;
  • Completed wind resource assessment thru a meteorological mast (1-60m);
  • Continuous negotiation with Cagayan Electric Cooperative II (CAGELCO II) RE: Connection Agreement;;
  • Pre-qualification / short listing of prospective manufacturers for the supply of wind turbine generators and its accessories.

Sanchez Mira

  • Submitted Declaration of Commerciality last November 7, 2012;
  • Completed Final Micrositing by Asistencias Tecnicas de Ingenieria Consultores (ATI), S.L (Consultant) of Madrid, Spain;
  • Completed Review of the Grid Impact Study (GIS) by NGCP;
  • Completed Final Feasibility Study by ATI;
  • Completed Preliminary Design by ATI/Airnergy;
  • Obtained Environmental Compliance Certificate/Environmental Impact Study with Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR);
  • Secured certificate of Non-overlap/clearance with Philippine Coast Guard, Philippine Navy, MARINA, BFAR,NCIP, PEZA;
  • Secured Resolution of Support from Sanguniang Bayan of Sanchez Mira and Barangay Council of Namuac, Tokitok, Dammang, Masisit and Magacan;
  • Negotiated with international foreign partners/ investors/ local banks relative for the financing requirement of the project needed for financial closing;
  • Conducted Public Consultation at the concerned barangay of Sanchez Mira, Cagayan;
  • Secured Proof of Consent from various landowners affected by the project;
  • Completed wind resource assessment thru a meteorological mast (1-60m & 1-80m);
  • Signed Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with Cagayan Electric Cooperative II (CAGELCO II) for the Transmission Connection Agreement.
